Shameen Pillai is an analyst in the Application Architecture, Infrastructure and Integration research group focusing on integration and API technologies for IT and digital leaders. He advises clients on establishing, managing and modernizing technology portfolios involving core middleware system integrations as well as enabling digital transformations using API and related technologies.
Mr. Pillai has deep and broad technical experience and exposure to API management, integration architectures such as ESB, SOA, microservices, B2B and related technologies as well as IT leadership experience around strategy, organization building, road map, development, execution and operations.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Pillai held several engineering, architecture and leadership roles in retail, banking, telecom and manufacturing companies responsible for building enabling technology landscapes.
