Sanjay Champaneri is a Vice President, Team Manager in Gartner's Finance Research and Advisory group. His team of global analysts are aligned to serve Gartner's CFO and senior finance clients. The team help drive financial close efficiency, technology driven process improvements and accounting and transactional process strategy. He advises finance leaders on the strategic sourcing, evaluation and implementation of finance and accounting business process outsourcing providers.
He is also a Gartner speaker at the annual CFO conference event.
Mr. Champaneri has 13 years experience in the Retail Healthcare Industry. He Served as the Head of Shared Services at Walgreens Boots Alliance, a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy. He was responsible for the shared services operations across the United Kingdom and Far East Asia and accountable for the overall Finance and HR outsourcing strategic relationship. He has also been involved in Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report and Master Data Management transformation initiatives which heavily invested in emerging workflow automation technologies such as Robotic Process Automation and Business Intelligent Analytics, to drive standardization and simplify accounting operation and allow the shared services function to form stronger partnerships with its stakeholders.
Mr. Champaneri has held external advisory roles in the Shared Services and retail industry with Shared Services Forum UK, The British Retail Consortium and Euro Commerce (Brussels)
