Mr. Takiishi based in Tokyo, Japan and his current research interests include wireless technology evolution such as 5G/4.xG/4G/M2M/IoT/SDN/NFV/vRAN/private 4G/5G and related competitive landscapes.
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Takiishi was a Senior Engineer responsible for mobile device development and frequency strategy at NTT Docomo. Prior to that, he was in the company's global business division to launch international roaming services (LTE, Wi-Fi, M2M) and contribute to GSMA standardization activities. He also worked as a researcher in NTT Docomo's laboratory to develop radio propagation algorithms, M2M and positioning systems.
