Keith Guttridge's main focus is on API and integration architectures, strategies and technologies. From an architecture perspective, he focuses on mesh app and services architecture (MASA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and event driven architecture(EDA). Integration technologies include application integration software such as enterprise service bus (ESB), integration platform as a service (iPaaS), message brokers, event brokers, as well as code-based approaches to integration delivery. He also covers organizational issues for integration, including integration competency centers (ICCs), integration strategy empowerment teams(ISET) and centers of excellence (COEs). Keith also works on a number of Gartner initiatives including Composable Business and Hyperautomation.
While at Visa Europe, Mr. Guttridge was responsible for the middleware technology strategy and roadmap. He also worked as an integration architect on a large number of high-volume, card processing systems such as Authorizations, Clearing and Settlement, Person to person payments, real time fraud scoring.
Prior to that, he worked at IBM, initially as a developer on IBM MQ Series and IBM Message Broker for almost 5 years. After that he moved to consultancy services for the full range of IBM integration products.
