Jason Donham is a Senior Director Analyst at Gartner. Mr. Donham covers datacenter technologies including hyperconverged solutions, server hardware, virtualization and storage systems. He also has experience in backup and recovery system design and ransomware prevention solutions.
Mr. Donham has 29 years of combined IT and electronics experience from a wide-ranging military and commercial background covering nearly every vertical. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Donham held positions with several industry Value-Added Resellers (VAR's) as a Solution Architect and Solution Engineer for pre-sales solution design. He has also worked in a technical support capacity for end-user issues as well as mission-critical storage support.

- Clearly identify variables that impact the solution and elicit all required clarifications from the client
- Participate in client interaction thru the lifecycle of the opportunity - bidder, conference, Q&A sessions, oral presentations
- Maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers
- Create hardware and software architecture for the solution including level of effort, skills and timeline required for implementation
