He is a Business resilience professional with 45 years of business experience and has worked with a range of clients all over the world. His main area of expertise over the last 20 years has been in enabling organization's to mature their business continuity management solutions to the ISO 22301 standard. David has led the development of the Gartner Maturity Model - IT Score for BCM, developed the Gartner Business Impact Analysis Research and Toolkit and is the lead author for the BCMP Market Guide. Other areas of expertise include business continuity management strategy planning, crisis management, business impact analysis, running business continuity exercises, development of recovery strategies, business interruption and supply chain analysis.
