Christian Canales is a Director Analyst in the Technology & Service Provider Research group of Gartner. Mr. Canales belongs to the Quantitative Innovation team, headed by Stephanie Baghdassarian. He is a lead analyst for the enterprise (business) unified wired/wireless access layer networking market (campus Ethernet switches and WLAN technologies including 802.11ac/ax). He additionally advises enterprises on WLAN implementation best practices and covers trends, vendor market share and forecast statistics of the enterprise network security (firewall, ZTNA, NDR, NAC and IDPS), data center switching and WAN Edge (SD-WAN and router) markets.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Canales worked as a statistics coordinator for telecommunication projects in Gartner's Statistical Unit in London. He moved to France in 2006.
