Brian Doherty is an analyst with Gartner's Tech Product Manager team within the Technology and Service Providers research unit. Mr. Doherty's research deals with product management across various technology domains, with a special focus on unified communications and collaboration (UC&C), agile principles and practices, building physical devices, and video applications.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Doherty was Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for WatchGuard Video. He led WatchGuard's 90-person team of product managers, hardware designers, software and firmware engineers, and quality assurance personnel to define, build and maintain WatchGuard's camera and software offerings.

Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Doherty led enterprise software development at Samsung for their Galaxy S line of devices, including Exchange ActiveSync, VPN, and MDM support; and what would eventually become SAFE and KNOX.
